Is our potential being limited by the education system?

Education isn't just about going to school ,reading textbooks, or passing exams. Those things might be a part of it ,but they don't capture the full picture .So, in my opinion, The education system is limiting potential.

Have you ever felt like your grades define your worth more than your actual talents ?
The following might be some of the reason for that:
Skilled Or Schooled??

1)It wasn't built for todays generation :Let's be real that the system was designed a long time ago , in a completely different time. It was meant to create obedient workers, not free thinkers or dreamers.

2)Grades measure who you are: Success in school is often measured by marks and memorization , not by real understanding or personal development.

3)Life skills are missing :I don't know about you but I have rarely seen schools talk on how to deal with failure, how to make good decisions about money and solve a real life problem.

4)Creativity gets pushed aside: I remember how so many people loved drawing, writing and dreaming up new ideas. But somewhere along the way, They were told," That's nice ,but it doesn't matter for your future"

5)Only some kinds of intelligence are valued: If you're great at math or science your  labelled "smart" and that's true but what if your a brilliant artist or an amazing storyteller? your often told that's just a "hobby", and not something that could define your future.

Conclusion: Are You Or Your Children's "SKILLED OR SCHOOLED??". Ask Yourself.!
